What Our Home Care Services Include

IncrediCare Home Care offers a variety of home care services that can be adjusted as needs change. Care may be part-time, full-time, or arranged around more complex family situations.

Personal Care

Personal care services help seniors with daily activities that may have become difficult because of age, illness, mobility changes, memory loss, or recovery needs.

Care may include help with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, transferring, walking, medication reminders, and mobility support. These services are designed to help clients maintain independence and quality of life while living in the comfort of their own home.

For families in Ashburn, personal care can also reduce worry about falls, hygiene, nutrition, and day-to-day safety.

Companion Care

Companion care at home provides social, emotional, and practical support for seniors who may be living alone, feeling isolated, or needing a little extra help around the house.

Services may include conversation, reading, games, walks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, organizing, grocery shopping, errands, transportation, appointment support, and medication reminders.

A companion caregiver can bring structure, encouragement, and a friendly presence to the day. This kind of care can be especially helpful for seniors who are mostly independent but need support to stay active, connected, and safe.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care

IncrediCare Home Care provides in-home dementia care and Alzheimer’s care for families who want their loved one to remain in a familiar environment for as long as possible.

Caregivers can help with daily routines, personal care, medication reminders, safety supervision, social engagement, and calming support throughout the day. The goal is to create a comforting atmosphere while helping the person remain active, mentally engaged, and secure at home.

Families caring for a loved one with memory loss often need more than task-based help. They need patience, consistency, communication, and caregivers who understand how dementia can affect mood, behavior, routines, and family life.

24-Hour Home Care

For seniors who need ongoing support, IncrediCare Home Care offers 24-hour home care. This may be appropriate when a loved one is at risk for falls, wakes frequently during the night, has advanced care needs, requires close supervision, or should not be left alone.

Around-the-clock care can help families feel confident that someone is available to assist with toileting, mobility, meals, medication reminders, safety checks, and reassurance during the day or night.

Respite Care and Family Support

Family caregivers often give everything they have to help a parent, spouse, or loved one remain at home. Over time, caregiving can become physically and emotionally demanding.

Respite care gives family caregivers time to rest, work, handle personal responsibilities, attend appointments, or simply recharge. IncrediCare Home Care can provide temporary relief while helping the loved one stay comfortable and cared for at home.

The agency also offers family caregiver training, giving families education and support that can make caregiving more manageable.

Hospital to Home Transition Care

A return home after surgery, hospitalization, rehabilitation, or illness can be stressful for both the senior and the family. IncrediCare Home Care offers discharge packages and support for families who need help during the hospital to home transition.

Care may include help with mobility, meals, personal care, medication reminders, fall prevention, transportation to follow-up appointments, and daily routines. This support can reduce confusion, encourage safer recovery, and help families feel more prepared during the first days and weeks at home.

Specialized Home Help Services

IncrediCare Home Care also provides support for people living with conditions such as COPD and lung disease, diabetes, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and other complex health situations.

Care is planned around the person’s needs, preferences, safety risks, and daily routines. Families can also benefit from care management, health consulting, and a team that understands how home care may need to evolve over time.

Why Choose In-Home Care in Ashburn

Home is where routines feel natural. It is where favorite chairs, family photos, pets, neighbors, and familiar comforts can make each day feel more secure.

In-home care helps seniors stay in the place they know while receiving support with daily tasks, personal needs, safety, and companionship. For many older adults, this can be less disruptive than moving into a facility.

Home care can also be flexible. A loved one may only need help a few hours a week at first. Later, care can increase as needs change. This kind of support gives families time to plan, adjust, and make decisions without feeling rushed.

For seniors in Ashburn, in-home care can help preserve independence while reducing the risks that often worry families, such as falls, missed meals, medication confusion, isolation, and caregiver burnout.

IncrediCare Home Care focuses on helping seniors remain well cared for in comfortable and familiar surroundings. Their care approach considers daily routines, safety, nutrition, emotional well-being, social connection, physical needs, and mental wellness.

Benefits for Adult Children & Family Caregivers

When an aging loved one begins to need help, adult children often carry a quiet but heavy load. They may be managing work, children, appointments, medications, meals, household tasks, and safety concerns all at once.

Home care can bring relief.

IncrediCare Home Care helps families create a plan that supports the senior while reducing pressure on family caregivers. A trained caregiver can help with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship, medication reminders, and safety monitoring.

For adult children who live outside Ashburn or elsewhere in Northern Virginia, professional care can provide an extra set of eyes and hands in the home. Regular support can make it easier to notice changes in mood, appetite, mobility, memory, or daily routines.

Home care can also help prevent caregiver burnout. Family members can step back from some of the daily tasks and return to being a daughter, son, spouse, or grandchild. That shift can make relationships feel warmer and less stressful.

Most importantly, families gain peace of mind knowing their loved one is not facing the day alone.
