Prior to the pandemic, Incredicare caregivers were invited quarterly to in-person training at the office. It was a great way for caregivers to gain new knowledge. It was another way for the office support staff to connect with our hardworking caregivers out in the field.
Due to the pandemic, Incredicare learned to adapt to continue to provide the best care in the Northern Virginia to our growing elderly community. We started to train caregivers through online learning portals and through Zoom.
Starting in March, caregivers have been, once again, welcomed back to the office for in-person training. March’s training focused on range of motion, cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and communication. Sharing scenarios and real life examples, our Community Liaison, Kim Jernigan and LPN, Deana McAdams brought the training to life.
Caregivers and the office staff were able to share stories and concerns, socialize, and build our community over pizza and snacks afterwards. Everyone was in high spirits and was looking forward to the next training.
