On Friday, March 7th a new batch of superheroes, also known as future registered nurses, were honored in a pinning ceremony at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center. Among those superheroes was IncrediCare’s very own LPN, Deana McAdams.

In between being an incredible source of comfort and care for our clients, a resource for learning for our Care Professionals, a supportive mom and Army wife, Deana battled it out with her accelerated nursing program through ECPI.
It was a room full of proud and emotional family and friends as the nursing students participated in reciting the Nightingale Pledge, while holding their candles as a symbol of being the light for their future patients, followed by receiving their pins by another Registered Nurse of their choosing.
The pinning signifies the end of their nursing program and the start of their career into a more involved role. They will officially become Registered Nurses once they pass their final exam called the NCLEX through the Nursing Board of Virginia and become board certified.
IncrediCare is immensely proud of Deana and all her accomplishments. Her knowledge, heart, and compassion make her one of the most valuable team members in the IncrediCare team.
The team is cheering her on as she prepares to jump her final hurdle in becoming a Registered Nurse.
