IncrediCare is proud to announce Claudia Dixon as the Employee of the Month for January. Claudia was honored for her ability to provide conscious care gently to all clients assigned to her. She was also honored for her willingness to be a team player for filling in last minute shifts, so clients did not go without care.
Claudia has been a lifelong resident of Virginia. She grew up in Fairfax County. Her interest in the healthcare field started at a young age. Like many caregivers, she found her passion through personal experience. Claudia witnessed her mother going in and out of the hospital many times. That is what sparked her interest in the field.
Outside of work, Claudia enjoys being around her family and friends. She said she likes to “hang out and eat good food.” Her motivation for going to work every day comes from her pride in “helping our clients simply live a comfortable life in their own homes.” She says that caregiving has also influenced her to “slow down and enjoy the small moments.”
Claudia originally chose to join IncrediCare because of the positive impression of the company and in meeting with the Care Coordinator. Her hopes for her future are to further her education and grow with the company.
