For the month of June, IncrediCare is proud to announce Troy Garland as the Employee of the Month.
Though Troy originally joined IncrediCare in a different position, he flourished after transitioning into the caregiver position.
Troy was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling the world. Like many people, he chose the caregiving field because of his love for helping people in need. Like all career paths, caregiving also has moments of hardships. It takes a clear objective and appreciation for the job to fight through the difficulties. “Seeing the reassurance and relief that clients and their families receive from my care motivates me to keep going every day.”
For the last six months, Troy has assisted IncrediCare in multiple ways. He has connected with multiple clients’ families, assisted with interviewing, scheduling, and training Care Pros, fielded many phone calls, and provided hands-on client care. He says he “chose IncrediCare because they are a highly motivated and responsive team that truly cares about their clients, their families, and all of their caregivers.”
Troy Garland was chosen as June’s Employee of the Month for his tireless efforts with a hospice client transitioning to his final days and supporting the family. Troy also stepped up to the plate when he was needed for another client’s care. He put aside all his apprehension to be a team player who goes above and beyond for his clients. “Being a caregiver has made me feel more connected to my community and makes me feel like I’m having a positive impact on those around me.”
