IncrediCare is proud to announce Consuelo De Leon as the Employee of the Month for November.
Consuelo joined IncrediCare without any formal caregiver training or professional caregiving experience. What she did come with, however, is a determination to learn the technical skills that would help her with her passion to provide care. Through IncrediCare’s online Personal Care Aide certification, hands-on practical training by our LPN, Deana McAdams, and our Super Caregiver shadow training program, Consuelo has been able to smoothly transition into a well-rounded Care Professional.
Born and raised in Guatemala, Consuelo has been rooted in Virginia for the last 30 years. She has worked for many years in the hospitality industry, harvesting a particular skill set of patience and understanding. When she decided to move on to this career field, Consuelo credits her drive to “be able to help others” and encouragement from her former employer. She decided to work with IncrediCare because of the “good trainings” that were available to Care Professionals.
Consuelo enjoys spending time with her family and going to church. Her hope for the future is to continue her journey in helping as many people as possible.
