ToggleBringing Joy One Snack At a Time!
IncrediCare CarePros are expected to provide a safe, compassionate environment while providing companionship or personal care. Among the day to day care, small moments of joy are brought to clients’ lives in many different forms. Pictured below is Gail M. carefully being fed her favorite snack, Jell-o, by our Lead Caregiver Jayda S.
Stimulating Activities
Pictured below is the very proud Mary N. with her yarn puzzle. Sometimes, clients’ needs can be more companionship than personal care. CarePros can participate in activities with clients to keep them company, such as putting together a 500-piece colorful puzzle!
Not only is this a fun activity, but doing activities such as puzzles can stimulate the brain and aid in keeping the mind healthy. Doing appropriately stimulating activities with clients, considering their neurocognitive status, can help improve memory enhancement, concentration, enhanced cognitive function and assist in reducing stress!
Connecting within Fields
Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” On Wednesday, March 13th, IncrediCare came together at the INOVA Vendor Fair to connect with other companies. IncrediCare is always on the lookout for resources to connect with client’s unique needs. Working together to find better solutions for a growing aging population is more than a mission statement for us.
