Throughout the month of August, Incredicare Home Care participated in a food drive supporting Cook For Vets, collecting donations of canned and nonperishable food items from staff. To show participation appreciation for their generosity, each staff who donated was entered into a raffle for a special Wellness Basket!
Cook For Vets is a Virginia-based nonprofit organization, founded in 2022 with a mission to help combat food insecurity among Veterans and their households. The organization provides nutritious, balanced meals and groceries to Veterans in need, relying on dedicated volunteers and community partnerships to help ensure those who served our country have access to food and nourishment. Its work is rooted in a simple but meaningful idea: giving back to those who have given so much to us.
IncrediCare was proud to take part in this initiative and grateful to the staff who stepped up to contribute. This food drive was a wonderful opportunity for Incredicare to give back to the community, show appreciation for local Veterans, and extend the mission of compassion and care beyond the home. Every donation, big or small, helped support a meaningful cause and reminded us of the difference we can make when we come together to care for others.
