On September 17th, InSight Memory Care Day Program in Leesburg hosted an Open House to introduce community partners to its services and programs. Guests enjoyed refreshments, toured the facility, and learned about the early-stage dementia program from Melissa Para, Early Stage Director.
While InSight Memory Care’s Fairfax location serves individuals in the middle and later stages of dementia, its Leesburg program, ReConnections, focuses specifically on those in the early stages of the disease. The day program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for individuals who are navigating a new diagnosis and adjusting to the changes that come with it.
Beyond supporting participants, InSight Memory Care also provides valuable education and resources for families, loved ones, and professionals, helping them better understand dementia and how to support those living with the condition.
