IncrediCare is always excited to create opportunities for individuals living with memory loss to express themselves through creativity. We were grateful to be invited back to Sunrise at Silas Burke for another inspiring afternoon with their memory care residents.
With a focus on restoring a sense of choice and independence, participants were encouraged to select between two paint colors and two art designs, allowing them to make meaningful decisions while keeping the activity approachable and enjoyable. Throughout the session, our team recognized that every resident benefited from a different level of support—some responded best to gentle verbal encouragement, while others thrived with more hands-on guidance.
