We are excited to announce that Litzi Bernal has been selected as the Employee of the Month. Please read further to get to know more about Litzi:

1) Where did you grow up? How long have you been in VA/DC/MD area?

I grew up in Woodbridge, VA, then moved to Utah for 9 years. Two years ago, I moved back to Virginia to be with my boyfriend.

2) What made you choose this career field? Did anyone influence you to choose this field?

I always knew I wanted to do something healthcare-wise. I started off by taking a CNA course my sophomore year of High school and quickly realized I was headed towards the right direction.

3) What brings you joy outside of work?

My family brings joy to me outside of work. Knowing that they are all happy and healthy is more than enough for me. Also, my dog brings me much joy.

4) What motivates you to come to work every day?

Wanting to be better and do better in life motivates me to come to work everyday also I take pride in my work and like to be responsible.

5) What made you choose IncrediCare?

I chose IncrediCare because the team is more like a family. I enjoy coming to work and feeling appreciated!

6) How has working as a caregiver influenced your life?

Working as a caregiver influenced my life in many positive ways. Seeing how small gestures mean a lot for many people, and how we take so much for granted. It changed my mindset on what the real definition of caregiver is 🙂

7) What is a future goal you hope to accomplish?

A goal I have in the future is to continue my education and go back to school for my BSN and continue my career in IncrediCare, helping give back to our elders.
