1. Where did you grow up? How long have you been in VA/DC/MD area?
I was born and raised in New York City, Brooklyn, NY, to be exact. I have lived there for the past 27 years, up until 2024 when I moved to Virginia.
2. What made you choose this career field? Did anyone or any particular moment in your life influence you to choose this field?
I like to believe that this career field has chosen me. My interests and career goals were more geared towards the creative arts. However, my family has a strong background in medicine, so I feel like it was a matter of time before the healthcare field found me. I have also found joy in providing the best possible care and have enjoyed my time with in-home care for the past 5 years.
3. What brings you joy outside of work?
I find joy in spending time with my family, taking walks/hikes, and tapping into my creative side: painting, photography, etc…
4. What motivates you to come to work every day?
What motivates me are the daily reminders/tasks I set out for myself to complete the prior workday. It helps me continue to stay on track, which in turn helps our business run more smoothly for our clients. Which is one of my main priorities as an administrative assistant.

6. How has working as a caregiver influenced your life?
I am happy and feel accomplished when assisting others. I feel fulfilled knowing that I have helped someone’s life become a bit easier and much more manageable.
7. What is a future goal you hope to accomplish, career or personal related?
I hope to continue in administration and eventually get settled into business management.
