1) Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Morocco, which is a country in North Africa. I moved to the US, especially to VA, one year ago.
2) What made you choose this career field? Did anyone influence you to choose this field?
I chose the healthcare field because I wanted a career where I could truly help people in need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I saw how healthcare workers worked very hard to care for patients and keep communities safe. Their hard work and kindness inspired me to follow this career. That experience showed me how important it is to support others during difficult times, and it motivated me to choose a career where I can make a positive impact every day.
3) What brings you joy outside of work?
I love dancing. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Outside of work, I also like to hang out with friends, go out for dinner, ride horses, go to the cinema, and just enjoy good vibes.
4) What motivates you to come to work every day?
What motivates me to come to work every day is knowing I can help people and do something good. I like learning new things, being around others, and feeling like what I do really matters. It also helps me financially so I can finish my studies and keep improving myself and what I do.

6) How has working as a caregiver influenced your life?
Working as a caregiver has really influenced my life. It taught me to be more patient, kind, and understanding with people. I learned how important it is to care for others and how much small actions can make someone feel better. It also made me stronger and more responsible, and it confirmed that I want to keep working in healthcare to help people.
7) What is a future goal you hope to accomplish?
One of my future goals is to complete my nursing degree and become a registered nurse. I’m currently studying and gaining experience as a caregiver, and this job will help me build the skills and financial stability to reach that goal.
