May 6–12 is traditionally celebrated as National Nurses Week, a time to recognize and honor the incredible contributions of nurses everywhere. Nurses are the backbone of countless healthcare institutions and communities. Through their dedication, compassion, and expertise, they save lives and provide hope during some of the most challenging moments people face.
Nurses bring comfort to patients and families alike, often persevering through difficult circumstances in their own lives while continuing to care for others. Whether they are triaging patients in hospitals, providing reassurance to clients aging in place at home, or guiding families through complex diagnoses and treatment decisions, nurses offer invaluable support and comfort every day.
