Understanding Cognitive Disorders: A Lunch & Learn with IncrediCare

Join IncrediCare’s Lunch & Learn to understand cognitive disorders and learn how professional home care supports individuals, caregivers, and families.
Understanding Cognitive Disorders Through Education and Support

Cognitive disorders impact not only individuals but entire families. On Tuesday, February 17, from 12:00–1:00 p.m., join IncrediCare’s own Fahima for an informative Lunch & Learn at Sunrise at Hunter Mill focused on understanding cognitive disorders and how to better support those living with them.

Fahima is a Dementia Trainer for IncrediCare with a background in child psychology and communication. Her education, training, and hands-on experience allow her to guide families, spouses, and adult children as they adjust to changing roles. She helps families maintain balance in their everyday lives while managing careers, family responsibilities, and the emotional demands of caregiving, all while emphasizing the importance of caregiver self-care.

During the session, Fahima will share why having professional home care in place is essential. At IncrediCare, we believe effective home care looks at the whole person, with personalized care plans that evolve as needs change. Our care is built around five core pillars: safety, nutrition, socialization, emotional wellness, and physical activity. These elements work together to enhance quality of life and provide meaningful support for both clients and their families.

RSVP by Friday, February 13th by calling 703-255-1006.
