This past April, IncrediCare recognized Rebecca G for an outstanding job with her client. Her current client experiences high levels of anxiety due to her dementia diagnosis. She relies on the consistency of care to feel safe and secure in her home. IncrediCare was sought out by her client’s loved ones to praise Rebecca’s quality of care. They were especially satisfied with Rebecca’s engagement with her client to keep her active. Let’s get to know Rebecca Greenberg:
1) Where did you grow up? How long have you been in VA/DC/MD area?
I was born in Kansas City and grew up in Virginia.
2) What made you choose this career field? Did anyone influence you to choose this field?
I took care of my mom when she was dying from cancer and saw how important it was for her to remain at home, therefore, would like to help others with health conditions stay at home for as long as possible.
3) What brings you joy outside of work?
Traveling, having a laugh with friends and family, attempting to read all the classics, cooking, hanging out with my goofy, fluffy, black cat, Solly.
4) What motivates you to come to work every day?
Knowing that the person I’m caring for depends on my help and company.
5) What made you choose IncrediCare?
The great, caring people I met during orientation who gave me the skills to help people at home.
6) How has working as a caregiver influenced your life?
It’s taught me the importance of patience and taking the time to truly get to know others’ stories.
7) What is a future goal you hope to accomplish?
Learn conversational French and/or Spanish.
