On October 16th, IncrediCare was thrilled to sponsor a pumpkin painting contest for the residents at Sunrise at Silas Burke during their Fall Harvest Festival.
Residents had the option to decorate their pie pumpkins using stickers, paint, or a combination of both. While creating their festive masterpieces, everyone enjoyed delicious desserts, refreshing drinks, and lively music. Some residents were joined by family members, adding extra warmth and joy to the celebration.
With the wonderful collaboration with the staff of Sunrise, Intake Coordinator Fahima Israt-Hernandez and Care Pro Consuelo De Leon were able to help run the event smoothly, filled with smiles and creativity.
At the end of the month, residents voted for the best-decorated pumpkin, and the winner was Max! Max received three hours of free home care, a cozy sherpa blanket to stay warm this fall and winter, festive fall décor, and some sweet treats.
