While general housekeeping does not come to mind immediately when home care is considered for some, it is an essential part of all our clients’ everyday needs. During June, Incredicare caregivers came in to review all parts of housekeeping that are important in keeping their clients safe during our monthly training session. They reviewed how to properly perform each task, in each room, to keep clients in a safe and clean environment. Caregivers also shared their own tips and tricks on cleaning and keeping infection-free homes. They also learned the difference between what is acceptable light housekeeping and what is not and how to handle certain cleaning products.
